But be careful where you bathe - this popular Oxford site is 1.5 miles downstream from Cassington Sewage Treatment Works (see separate video on the petition) which spilled sewage for 494 hours in 2019 - 9.5 hours a week. And if you're thinking of swimming at or below Sandford Lock, Oxford STW, handling the sewage of 230,000 people, spilled for 1332 hours in 2019 - 25 hours a week (see two separate videos on that in this petition).
