Overturn NHS Resolution's Decision for Leatside Pharmacy

Overturn NHS Resolution's Decision for Leatside Pharmacy
The Issue
I am one of 15,000 patients at Leatside Surgery in Totnes, Devon, and I'm deeply concerned about NHS Resolution's decision not to allow a replacement licence for our in-house pharmacy. This decision was made without taking into account the needs and views of patients like me. Many of us, including numerous elderly residents, rely on the convenience and accessibility of this pharmacy. The two alternative pharmacies in Totnes are not easily accessible to all patients due to distance and limited capacity.
Patients who are elderly or have mobility issues will face significant challenges in getting their medications if the decision is not overturned. It feels as though the needs of our community are being ignored, and this could have severe implications for those who require easy access to medications. We cannot overlook the detrimental impact this could have on patient care and health outcomes.
I'm urging the Secretary of State for Health to intervene , to thoroughly examine the reasons behind the refusal and overturn this decision by NHS Resolution. It's crucial to ensure our voices are heard and our healthcare needs are prioritized. By addressing this issue, we can prevent unnecessary hardship for the patients of Leatside Surgery but for all in Totnes and surrounds. Let's rally together to protect our essential healthcare services.
Please join me in calling for a fair reassessment of this decision. We need a solution that recognizes our unique community needs and provides us with the quality care we deserve. Sign this petition to ask the Secretary of State for Health to review and overturn this decision by NHS Resolution.
