GOVERNMENT COMMITS TO ACTION—NOW WE NEED A CLEAR TIMEFRAME

PM and member of Cabinet annouces the fixing of our road

We welcome and appreciate the Prime Minister’s visit to the Aux Delices landslide site, accompanied by members of Cabinet and the Public Works team.

The Government has committed to stabilising the affected area, improving the alternative route between Delices and Petite Savanne, and addressing drainage and overgrown vegetation while working toward a lasting solution.

This is an encouraging and necessary step. We thank everyone who has signed, shared, and supported this petition—our collective voices are being heard.

However, the residents and daily users of this road now need a clear and public timeframe:

When will the work begin?
How long is it expected to take?
When will safe and reliable access be restored?
What measures will be put in place to keep residents connected while the permanent work is underway?

We will continue advocating until these commitments become visible action and the people of the Southeast have the safe, dependable access they deserve.
