Brief updates that are small, but mighty: 

We met with a House Rep (regarding giving HB 1166 another go) on Wednesday and will hopefully have a meeting with the Executive Director of Texas Humane Legislation Network (THLN) very soon! These are all of the same folks that made it illegal to cruelly chain doggies to posts. Ideas are being heard and embraced. We are approaching the matter with love and respect thinking of ALL of our furry friends with owners on both sides of the aisle. We can ALL agree that our animals deserve better from us. There IS a better way! 

Keep sharing this petition everywhere! It helps. More funds coming soon. Initial goals are still being considered in future plans. Please be ready to support this cause that grows by the day. Will provide more updates soon! 

By the way, here's a picture of Blue Cheese whom we miss very much and dedicate this all to. We are doing this for you and your brothers and sisters of every species! This post is in honor of our babies in heaven: Gustav, Charlie, Salsa, Happy, Tiger, Luna, Nina, Pink Panther, Godzilla, Pompom, Angel, Wagner, Buddy, Step, Jenkies, Jenkies 2, Milo and the litter of kittens we bottle fed that the rescue had to put down with FIV (but should've made it). We honor each one of you and do this in memory of you all and everything you did for us. We didn't deserve each you and you put up with so much of us, but were so lucky! Thanks for loving us.
