Coach Sergio Veloso’s approach in the Ateneo Women’s Volleyball Program has consistently failed to deliver the results we all hoped for. His decision-making is often questionable, showing a serious disconnect with the players who are the heart and soul of the team. Unfortunately, his rigid tactics do not align with the dynamic playstyle that modern volleyball requires.

Athletes need an environment where their skills are nurtured, and their individual strengths can shine through. Under the current leadership, the team has not been able to reach its full potential. The lack of adaptability and understanding in coaching methods means that the athletes are not being leveraged to their full capabilities.

Ateneo’s volleyball program has a storied history and has always been a beacon of excellence. To continue this tradition, it’s crucial to have a coach who is not only knowledgeable but also emotionally intelligent and flexible enough to adapt strategies that suit the team's unique qualities.

For the continued success and growth of the Ateneo Women’s Volleyball Program, we petition for serious consideration to be given to appointing a new head coach. This change is not only necessary but urgent if the team is to compete at the highest levels and return to its former glory.
