In response to the pertinent comments that have been made about the benefits and challenges of inclusion, check out this video looking at Los Angeles Unified School District's experience. Although appropriate for many students, successful inclusion requires thoughtfully developed structures, including adequate numbers of qualified and experienced support staff. Ms. Andujar was involved in implementing the directive for greater inclusion and advocated for ensuring that any process for expanding our service models was well thought-out and resourced.
