ONE YEAR ago Kirklees Council discovered a problem with the ceiling in our Town Hall. A year has passed and NO REPAIRS have happened. Now there's rumors that Kirklees Council is going to CLOSE our Town Hall completely this year.

The neglect and delay of the repair is preventing performing arts and musical concerts coming to the town hall. If Kirklees is regenerating the town centre this should be a key part as it’s a unique asset which brings leisure and entertainment. It’s also used by local community groups and the Cleckheaton Folk Festival event.

It’s considered big draw to the town.

The Council MUST URGENTLY get on with repairs and help town hall users.
