Eastfield facebook moan page.

It seems that there has been a lot of recent activity on the Eastfield Moan Facebook page. As I'm not on Facebook I would like to point out the facts to those that have added their negative comments. If any of you good people are on Facebook please feel free to share the facts below with the "moaners."

Fact 1. I have lived here for 30+ years and as far as I know there has never been a skatepark at The Mere.

Fact 2. The metal skatepark at Pindar School corroded and had to be demolished as it became too dangerous to use.

Fact 3. The Overdale site would be used for other community facilities, not just a skatepark. 

Fact 4. We have support from the Town Council and the local Police.

Fact 5. Studies have shown that engaging in physical activity can improve mental health and lessen anti social behaviour.
