Dear Mr Lowy,
I would like to meet with you at your earliest convenience to discuss the recent axing of the Paralympic Football Team
by Football Federation Australia.
As a devoted national coach and employee of the FFA for over eight years, I hope that you can accommodate such a request.
Knowing your background I know that you are a kind and caring man and I hope that you can grant me just a few minutes of your time to discuss this recent tragedy and the failure of your CEO Mr David Gallop to respond to my requests.
Sincerely, yours in sport,
Paul Brown
Dear Paul
FFA Chairman, Mr Frank Lowy, has forwarded your email on to me.
I am of the understanding that Luke Casserly had been liaising with you regarding your concerns on this matter and my office is not in receipt of any requests from you for a meeting.
We appreciate your continued interest, even in retirement and we look forward to a positive resolution in the future.
Regards
David Gallop
Chief Executive Officer

Dear David ,
Thank you for taking the time to respond to my email.
I am quite sure that you are aware that the only reason I retired was because I was told by Luke Casserly that there is ‘no Pararoos program,
so consequently no National Head Coach’.
Unfortunately, communications between myself and Luke Casserly broke down when he refused to answer my emails. Furthermore, I asked him to let bygones be bygones,
so that we could move forward with the program, but he refused. I reminded him that I was not the villain here and it was both the ASC and the FFA that had made the error in judgement
with regard to the axing of the Pararoo program, and the way it was done using the ‘Winning Edge’ policy as the tool. I realise that John Boultbee and Ben Buckley were the manufacturers of the
FFA Winning edge proposal, but yourself and Luke Casserly were quite aware of the contents and the pending outcome. In fact, Luke even mentioned to me in a meeting that both the ASC and the FFA
were expecting and ready for the backlash.
With regard to a positive resolution moving forward, if you remember I tabled an Executive Summary to you in the meeting with
Shari Maguire and her lovely daughter. I asked for some indication of a date when I could expect some feedback regarding it. You replied that you and Luke would have a look at it
in due course and respond.
As with all correspondence with regard to this program it has been met with silence.
There are 83,000 supporters that are still waiting for some sort of resolution and feedback with regard to the future of the program and once again silence.
I am also aware that a large proportion of them have completed your survey on the ‘Give your View’ portal in support of the reinstatement of the Pararoo program.
In your meeting with the ASC and the APC, I believe the ASC responded with an agreement of funds for the program, but only if the FFA agreed to support it like they should have done originally.
I am fully aware that my time at the FFA is done, but I will continue to pursue this issue by any means possible until a positive resolution is reached.
I would be happy to meet with you, to discuss this further, at your convenience.
Sincerely, yours in Sport
Paul Brown
Dear Paul
Again, I thank you for your interest in this matter.
Football Federation Australia continues to explore opportunities that we hope will lead to a positive outcome for the Pararoos. Once a resolution has been met we will communicate such to the wider football community.
Kind regards
David Gallop
