Eleven days prior to the meeting between the Australian Sports Commission and Football Federation Australia regarding the future of The Pararoos, Bernie Ripoll brings the subject up in Parliament. See his parliamentary speech at the following address https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10152298970792967&set=vb.47126097966&type=2&theater It is hoped that the ASC and FFA consider the Executive Summary 2014-2018 tabled by National Coach Paul Brown in the previous meeting with FFA CEO David Gallop which included: Budget Increase to $525,000 increasing to 1 million over the next decade FFA webpage to be developed to include Pararoos alongside Socceroos and Matildas Paralympic Footballer of the Year Disability Action Plan 2014-2018 Full time Pararoos staff Pararoos to be included in Asian qualification path Development of Paralympic Football in the Oceania Region National Players to be included in AIS and State institutes Pararoos to be included in Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea in October Pararoo players to be included in National Football Development Plan, Federation Charter, Men's Talented Player Pathway, High Performance Plan, Strategic Plan Framework 2011-2015 Pararoos to be included in CPISRA World Games 7-16th August in Nottingham Build closer ties with Oceania and Asian Region by development of Paralympic Football Conference (5 Countries) Bi Annual Paralympic Football Invitational Tournament in Darwin (ARAFURA Games) Member Federation Charter to include Pararlympic Football in Northern Territory, ACT, Tasmania Development of an U16's Australian Paralympic Football Program FFA to advertise 'We need you' program to identify other possible paralympic Footballers 50 cents from player registrations to go toward sustainablility of Paralympic Football Paralympic Football matches to act as curtain raisers for Soccerro matches and MPL matches. FFA to approach IPC with regard to increasing number of National teams at the Pararlympics from 8-12.
