Firstly, I would like to thank you all, almost 82,000 Pararoo supporters that have signed the petition to try to overturn the decision regarding funding for the Pararoos. Unfortunately, even with this huge amount of support, the Minister for Sport Peter Dutton, Matthew Favier of the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) and David Gallop of Football Federation Australia (FFA) continue to remain silent. As you know, we were told that a meeting would take place after the Commonwealth Games, but this continues to be a stalling tactic by the powers that be. In fact, myself, my staff and my players have been waiting since August 2013 for this meeting to occur and as before, we are no further ahead. It is obvious that these bodies continue to remain silent, so that hopefully we will go away quietly, but thanks to you this is not going to happen. I received an email yesterday from Luke Casserly, Head of High Performance at Football Federation Australia that I will not longer be included in talks with regard to the Pararoo Program. This is okay, because I knew this would be the situation when I decided to go public with this issue. As you know there has been an enormous amount of media attention regarding this issue and still no action by the powers that be. It is for this reason that it is time to step it up and I ask that all 82,000 of you support me in this campaign.
