Hello Orinda Downtown supporters, A quick but important note to share as I reiterate, what many of you have already heard and read through many great citizens amplifying a revitalized downtown for Orinda. Orinda Vision, WUDO and all petition signers want a downtown for TODAY. Not a tired landscape that does not give back to community (as seen in this video shot by student’s drone - statistics are shocking): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNv3JqGZEuc With all the great momentum and since many of you have asked, “WHAT can I do”, NOW is the time to speak (or write). The future of Orinda’s downtown is scheduled for discussion at the next City Council Meeting. This Tuesday, September 6th at 7PM, please join us to speak and be heard. Please show up to speak (no words too small to share) or for support of many who will be speaking next week. If you cannot join us, please take a moment TONIGHT to send a brief email message addressed to the Orinda City Council and emailed to: Sherry Kelly, the Interim City Clerk, skelly@cityoforinda.org Any email in by TONIGHT will be included in the individual packets that go out to Council members at the end of the week.
