First Event Approved - Lock in 5th June for a Minikhana Festival

Council have signed the Landholders Consent form for a Minikhana Festival to be run on Sunday 5th June 2022 at the Moto Park.

If you are at a bit of a loss to know what Minikhana is all about, think horse gymkhana for minibikes. It's the ideal way for new riders to learn all the skills that will be used in every other motorcycle discipline.

When I was at a recent Panorama Motorcycle Club committee meeting, a committee member commented that Minikhana trained riders had a much better skill level when they moved to motocross. (And by the way, their motocross track on the top of Mount Panorama, looks spectacular after the recent track maintenance.) 

The Canobolas Motorcycle Club has been invited by Council to wrap up the petition and submit our plans for the future. We will do that by the end of April 2022 and apply for approval of the lease of the Moto Park, which we hope will be approved subject to the Club producing a Development Application that ticks all the boxes.
