Thank you for signing the petition a few months ago to keepo Pacific Spirit Park dog-friendly. I have now heard back from Richard Wallis, Park Operations Supervisor. He sent me the email below and I am forwarding it to you all. Please do sign the survey to ensure our voices are heard. Once again thank you for your support on this issue. 

Information on Survey and Feedback:

As part of this work to update the dog management program, a short public survey will open tomorrow to hear directly from park visitors about their experiences with dogs in the park. Please feel free to share the survey link with everyone in your network.

This survey is part of a review that includes input from key groups, along with data on visitor trail use, incidents, natural resource monitoring, and staff observations. The goal is to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors while protecting the park’s natural resources. 

Program updates will be shared in the park and on the Metro Vancouver website, with implementation anticipated in fall 2025.
