Dear Preserve Middlebury Petition Supporters: 

Thank you all for the investment of your time and energy in our community. This update includes three parts. Please consider: (1) contacting the Planning & Zoning Commission members, (2) attending the upcoming public hearing about the proposed apartment complex (details below), and (3) joining the Preserve Middlebury email listserv.

First, if you have not already, please submit letters of opposition to the Planning & Zoning Commission (pandz@middlebury-ct.org) and our elected Town officials (contact information is provided below). Please note that these letters do become part of the public record upon submission and are thereby accessible to the developer. As such, you may receive an email response from the developer to your letter to the Town (this has happened to several residents already).

Second, please consider attending the public Planning & Zoning Commission hearing on the proposed rental apartment complex, which will be held on Thursday, 1/4 at 7:00pm at Shepardson Community Center (1172 Whittemore Road) in Middlebury. Please mark your calendars, and please also tell your neighbors and plan to attend this meeting.

Third, please consider joining the Preserve Middlebury email listserv to receive more frequent communications concerning the proposed rental apartment complex. You may do so by emailing preservemiddlebury@gmail.com to be added to the listserv.
