No Surprise - HB 585 Passed the House - What's Next?

It should come as no surprise that HB 585 pass the House of Delegates along a party line vote yesterday and is headed to the Senate. Our outreach campaign to the Senate starts in earnest this morning with an e-mail detailing the realities of this proposed legislation and its impact on the roughly 1,000 home-based FFLs across Virginia who would be impacted by it. Your voice will be heard as well, we will be including petition details in our e-mail.

Make no mistake, this proposed legislation is an attack on small businesses across Virginia It sets a precedent of targeting lawful businesses without just cause, and based strictly on subjective biases and unfounded fears.
