We, the passionate supporters of Welsh rugby and key stakeholders, call on the WRU to halt the planned restructuring of Welsh Rugby relating to the proposed reduction in the number of Men’s elite teams from 4 to 3.

We believe that such a move will have detrimental consequences for the future for our national sport and won’t deliver the outcome’s that the WRU feel will be achieved.  

We ask for a more collaborative approach, giving greater weight to the views of supporters, communities, the four professional teams, and former players.

This is so important for Wales and we only have one opportunity to get this right, so stop these current proposals now to ensure Welsh rugby is sustainable for future generations to enjoy.
