The Ontario PC Party platform has been released.

In it, they have committed to passing the Safer Municipalities Act, which makes being homeless in public a crime in Ontario.

Every other party understands that the solution to homelessness is housing — not criminalization. The Ontario NDP, Greens, and Liberals have all explicitly stated that they would not use the Notwithstanding Clause to clear encampments or criminalize homeless people forced to live outdoors and in encampments.

If we see another majority government for Doug Ford's PC Party, prisons will become Ontario's homeless shelters.

I'm obviously worried about this and I need your help: send a message to Ford's PC candidates that you want housing, not prisons: sign and share the petition now!

... and please vote! Voting to take down the Ford majority could save lives!
