Highway Safety and Traffic Congestion: The Main Road is already heavily congested and dangerous. The development's significant traffic generation, particularly for a drive-thru facility, will exacerbate existing congestion, leading to unacceptable delays and a substantial risk to road safety.

Main Road is heavily used by emergency services, particularly police and ambulance from Ystrad Mynach Police Station which houses the roads policing unit and the only custody suite in Gwent, and Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr respectively.

Impact on Residential Amenity and Well-being: As a resident directly opposite the proposed site, this development will severely impact quality of life.

Noise Pollution: From 24-hour operation, vehicles, and the drive-thru ordering system.

Odour: Smells emanating from cooking and waste areas.

Litter: 3 litter picks per day does not suffice. 

Parking and Access Overspill: The private avenue that serves as private access will inevitably become an unauthorised overflow parking/eating area for customers, despite the on-site provision, leading to safety hazards, blocked access, and constant disturbance.

Property Value: The increase in traffic, noise, and anti-social behaviour will have a detrimental effect on property value.
