Hello everyone and thank you for your support. Some of you might be aware, after gaining 1300 signatories we presented a question to the local conservative councillor for Boscombe West Jane Kelly at Tuesday’s Council meeting. Asking simply, why are you removing the TRX frame, her response summarised was that an insignificant number of people use the frame and the council had to consider making the area viable for commercial interest to obtain revenue. Jane Kelly isn’t, wasn’t and has never been interested in the community benefit of this space.

The TRX frame, to me, represents not just an exercise frame, the space where it is located is a community hub, from sun up to sun down, an area where swimming groups, yoga groups, TRXers, young mums, sea shepherds and surfers meet. All ages coming together as a local community to use, care and love our beach.

The Conservative party has a long history destroying communities, they aren’t interested in people coming together, they want to separate us all, they don’t want us talking, that way we are easier to manipulate. This is the party that Jane Kelly represents.

The local elections are coming up shortly on the 4th May, just about the same time they are ripping the heart out of our community by removing the frame. I suggest anyone who lives in the Boscombe West Ward votes against Jane Kelly and her Conservative Values and puts their vote, wisely, towards Patrick Canavan of Labour, it might not save the frame, but at least you can show Jane Kelly the consequences of dismissing the people she’s supposed to represent as insignificant.
