The ARDMS has raised their rates for the past few years with little in return for sonographers. Now the ARDMS, along with the National Accreditation Board, will be impacting busy everyday sonographers with more burdensome requirements to maintain credentials through The Maintenance of Certification program or MOC. This will become a REQUIREMENT June 2024. 

We as sonographers continue to be on the front lines, battling through COVID, enduring musculoskeletal injuries, battling nurses and other modalities for access to our patients, and striving to obtain the best images for patient care in the midst of even the most difficult situations.The ARDMS now wants to spread us even more thin by requiring an unwanted app download to your personal device, and quarterly or even more frequent tests and quizzes on top of the continual learning through CME requirements . 

I am encouraging my fellow sonographers to sign this petition and/or sound off at the ARDMS website by logging in to your ARDMS profile, click on the menu at the top left, click maintain credentials, knowledge confirmation, scroll to and click 'Share your feedback with our development team'. Please respectfully tell the ARDMS we do not want this requirement.
