The petition expressing concern about the proposed amendment to the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2019 has now crossed 15,000 signatures.
Thank you to everyone who has supported and shared it so far. This response reflects widespread concern about protecting the principle of self-identified gender recognition recognized by the Supreme Court in National Legal Services Authority v. Union of India.
