Residents in so many different parts of the city are upset with those in charge - From bus lanes, bike lanes, 24/7 emergency shelters and so many other issues that have risen in the last 3 years - This government is not working to benefit the citizens of Toronto - clearly.
When do we say enough is enough?
How can the city put so many of its citizens at risk with little to no care?
How can plans be implemented without studies being conducted?
Why is data not being presented to stakeholders?
Why aren't plans being released for review?
Why hasn't the TTC responded to requests?
Why is the city of Toronto avoiding responsibility?
How can it be ok to make permanent changes to infrastructure for a temporary event?
These questions and many others are far from being answered - that's something everyone living in Toronto should be afraid of.
And if things couldn't get anymore chaotic here - this morning (June 19), there was a streetcar derailment on Bathurst at Dundas that left commuters stranded and forced vehicles, cyclists and e-scooters to divert into side streets which resulted in gridlock traffic all along the Bathurst route.
Imagine what else could go wrong after life altering infrastructure changes are made - better yet, can you imagine what the winter months will hold for commuters when lane access becomes restricted?
WINTER!
It's here longer than summer and yet the city of Toronto and TTC present plans that make it seem like we live in California and show no meaningful explanation to what happens in these months....
Here we are - made to believe the TTC and city of Toronto have everything under control.
