Urgent! The Wilmette landowner whose property is adjacent to Isabella Woods is once again moving to create an easement to build a road from Isabella Street to his property. 

The Board of the MWRD (Metropolitan Water Reclamation District), which owns the land, will vote on Thurs., Nov. 3 whether to grant this easement. 

The land that would be affected by the easement includes old-growth oak trees, and wetland areas that provide storage for stormwater and habitat for wildlife - in addition to valuable recreational acreage for walking, birdwatching, golfing and cross-country skiing.
