You will see the complaint filed in Federal court as well as the counterclaim for her name.

URGENT: She will attend a hearing this Monday because her attorney filed a motion to withdraw from this case. The very NEXT day she is scheduled to be deposed by Opposing Counsel and may not have an attorney to defend her at that deposition. We don't know what the outcome of the hearing will be? 

She needs time to find adequate counsel that does not have conflicts with UMG / Interscope records. We need to put a lot of eyes on this situation.

If you are a singer songwriter in the industry using your legal birth name and TRADEMARKED NAME, why should another be able to go by the same name? Is that not confusing? If there were two singers named Norah Jones how would you distinguish between the two?

SAG-AFTRA does not allow two actors to have the same stage name. Trademark law doesn't allow it either. 

Briana Cash is a singer-songwriter that writes and performs many genres. TRADEMARK protects the name so that no one else doing the same type of work may have that name or anything that even sounds phonetically the same. 

This is truly a David vs Goliath battle.
