A public engagement meeting to discuss and learn about the proposed downgrade of Helensburgh Fire Station will take place on Wednesday 20th August 2025 at 7pm in the Victoria Halls , Helensburgh.
Please come along where guest speakers, trade union officials and elected members will speak about the wider impact of SFRS cuts locally in Helensburgh and the effect this will have on response times. This will be an open forum with the opportunity to ask questions and discuss how to protect vital emergency services.
All of this will happen ahead of the Scottish Fire and Rescue service consultation meeting on the 26th August 2025 where you can take an active part. The SFRS consultation is also still available online at SFRS Consultation Website and you should take a little time to take part in this and give your thoughts and feelings.
