Dear Supporters,
Thank you for your support over this difficult 7 months. We are trying to make the most of a difficult situation. Our mission continues: the Epona Trust horses are comfortable and content, and we’ve hosted equine experiences for many adults and children.
Please continue to support and share our petition, We hope to reach 5000 signatures which will be a huge message of support.
The loss of the grazing and lack of any alternative means an increase in our annual costs which isn’t being helped by the lack of rain pushing up hay prices and reducing grass growth in our remaining pasture. We calculate an increase of over £7000 for extra feed and supplements . Though we are not paying for Lower Russells Meadow grazing any more this still leaves a shortfall of approx. £4,800 per year until the situation is resolved.
We have a fundraising page to try to cover our extra costs. If you can make a donation or share the page, that would be amazing! The link is: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/epona-trust-general
Finally, a shout out to Serhan Handani from Bramsdon and Childs solicitors for the helpful pro bono work he has done and the advice given to us, many thanks Serhan!
