Despite our efforts, Eastleigh Borough Council has granted the alpaca business a 10-year lease on the summer grazing. Whilst this is extremely disappointing, we hoped to work with the Council on alternative grazing and submitted a business case for some suitable land we have identified nearby, which the Council said they would consider.

However Eastleigh Borough Council has decline our application for use of nearby paddocks.

Whilst disappointing, this was not unexpected and we continue to work on finding a solution to mitigate the loss of the summer grazing licence.
