The ALA (Arrowhead Lake Association) has decided to drop all negotiations with our representatives and instead bring a proposed bylaw change to a member vote. A link to the proposed bylaw changes is here.
This latest turnabout confirms that the board members, to a man, believe that they can deny access to any group deemed unacceptable. That view is, of course in violation of the 1964 Settlement Agreement that granted property owners in Arrowhead Woods, and their lessees and guests, equal access to Lake Arrowhead, its beaches and trails. A “lessee” is commonly understood to be anyone who pays for the use of another’s property.
