OPERATION INFLATION RESILIENCE
The Issue
As a 25-year Air Force veteran who spent two decades serving abroad, I received plenty of good advice during my time in service. At the young age of 23, I was advised to buy a house at every duty station. The advice was sound; however, what no one explained to me was the extent of the Veterans Affairs Home Loan benefits, or that they could be utilized multiple times. If I had known this, my journey into homeownership would have been drastically different. Not wishing to let others fall into the same traps, I now advocate for current active-duty members. In my message to them, I strongly emphasize: Don’t be like me. If you don’t buy a home while serving, you may end up without a place to call home when you retire. If you receive Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH), don’t wait to invest in real estate—buy properties now and wait for the benefits to materialize. It is with this genuine concern that I am seeking to garner extensive support for increased awareness about VA Home Loan Benefits and for OPERATION INFLATION RESILIENCE. The potential impact of these benefits is far-reaching and could change the lives of thousands of military personnel. It's time we inspire a sense of proactive responsibility for our servicemen and servicewomen, giving them the tools and knowledge they need for a secure future. Please support us in our endeavor and sign this petition today.*Petition for Increased Awareness of VA Home Loan Benefits** **To: Service Members and Supporters of Veterans' Rights** **From: Veterans Helping Veterans Inc.** We, the undersigned, are members of the veteran community—including veterans, active duty service members, reservists, and their families—who believe in the importance of understanding the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) Home Loan Program and the VA Claims process. **Why This Matters:** Many veterans may not be fully informed about the benefits available to them. Consider these important questions: 1. Does my VA home loan eligibility expire? 2. Can I use my VA home loan more than once? 3. Can I buy more than one home at a time using my VA home loan? 4. Must I have an honorable discharge? 5. Does the VA provide money (funds) for my home loan? 6. Can I rent out my home (income producing) with my VA home loan? 7. Can I buy a fixer-upper with my VA home loan? If you're unsure about any of these questions, you may benefit from additional education about VA Home Loan Benefits. Unfortunately, this crucial information is often not provided during service, and we aim to bring awareness and change to this issue. **Our Mission:** Veterans Helping Veterans Inc. is dedicated to empowering our fellow veterans and their families with the knowledge they need to maximize their benefits and support housing solutions for veterans facing homelessness. **Support Our Cause:** We ask for your support in raising awareness of veteran housing issues by signing this petition. Together, we can advocate for better education on VA Home Loan Benefits and ensure that no veteran is left in the dark. **Thank You:** We appreciate your commitment to supporting our veterans. **Sign below to join our efforts:** [Your Name] [Your Signature] [Your Email Address] [Your Phone Number] [Branch of Service] [Years of Service] **Learn More About Our Work:** To see what we are doing to address veteran housing issues in the Southern California region, visit our links: - [About Us](http://www.vethelpingvet.org/about.html - [Testimonials](http://www.vethelpingvet.org/testimonials.html - [Price One Realty Reviews](https://www.yelp.com/biz/price-one-realty-los-angeles Thank you for your service. **Todd "Jay" Johnson** U.S. Army Ret.
