The WDFW and Commission are facing overwhelming frustration and out right anger from the public over their continued avoidance to take some action to fix the broken co-management process.

Trust and faith in the Department and the Commission is at the lowest point it has been, it only takes a quick glance at the many sport fishing social media sites to see the emotions boil over.

IT’S TIME THE COMMISSION ANSWER TO THE PUBLIC. DEMAND A TOWN HALL

The Commission's answer for public input to date is to allow individuals a timed three minute period to speak to them during regular commission meetings.  Even this is usually met with silent nods, as if they're confirming that public participation is just a waste of time.

WE ARE NOW CALLING ON THE COMMISSION TO HOLD A TOWN HALL MEETING TO ALLOW THE PUBLIC A FORUM TO ASK QUESTIONS AND TO HAVE THE COMMISSION MEMBERS ANSWER.

The time for the Commission to speak honestly and with transparency about the broken co-management process, and what they see as a way forward is long over due.

Currently WDFW is facing three lawsuits, and possibly a fourth, surrounding the disastrous process. In addition, there is our petition with over 8000 citizen signatures demanding their attention to the broken process.

The people have spent thousands of hours giving meaningless public input at commission meetings, fish advisory groups and through different sport fishing organizations. And yet, WHAT HAS WDFW DONE....NOTHING BUT IGNORE THE RECREATIONAL SPORTSMEN!

JOIN US IN DEMANDING THE COMMISSION HOLD A 'TOWN HALL" MEETING WHERE THE PUBLIC CAN ASK QUESTIONS AND GET ANSWERS ABOUT THE BROKEN CO-MANAGEMENT ISSUE.
