There has been A LOT of discussions about the recent temporary shut down of fishing. No matter where you land on this subject, there is a lot of passion about the temporary inability to enjoy our sport.

Discussions rage about this temporary closure, yet at this very moment, behind locked doors, YOU ARE LOSING MUCH MORE OF YOUR OPPORTUNITIES for the entire next season.

The Co-management process is broken. It’s been replaced with coercion, as a result of the leadership in the Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission (NWIFC) and their manipulation of the permitting process.

Few understand, but it is in these meetings that the entire fishing season for recreational fishermen is agreed to.

IT IS NOT A FAIR PROCESS, AND YOU'RE PROHIBITED FROM KNOWING ANYTHING UNTIL IT’S ALL DONE!

WDFW if forced to have the NWIFC’s approval in order to allow recreational fishing. There are members of the NWIFC who use that to force WDFW into agreements that are limiting your fishing more and more each year!

If WDFW objects to anything they are told to accept, there are threats by NWIFC members to walk out of the meetings or just stall, and then WDFW cannot get a season to fish! That is Coercion!

Recreational fishermen everywhere are outraged and have organized to end the temporary restrictions to fishing, however, you're angry about a rock, while the whole mountain is being stolen.

DIRECT THAT OUTRAGE TO END THE COERCION IN THE NORTH OF FALCON THAT IS DOING MUCH MORE LASTING DAMAGE!
