What started out as a cry in the wilderness, a fishermen standing on the bank of a closed river, a couple of guys looking at the boat, parked and idle. As a fisherwomen trying to tell her children, “we can’t go fishing, it’s closed.” What was a sign on the door that read, CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC. Or the things that caused frustration and anger, mis-trust and suspicion with WDFW ARE ABOUT TO BE HIT BY THE TSUNAMI! WE JUST PASSED 900 SIGNATURES!! You have come together, unlike anything that has been done in recent memory. You have become a MAJOR FORCE. You’ve proven that the power of the people is something that cannot be ignored. And, we are just starting to draw a lot of attention. Salmon University has placed an article about our petition in their newsletter (Thank you) CCA has provided a link to it’s members. (Thank you) KING5 News is doing a story on the Closed Door Meetings (Thank you) The Commission has added the subject to their Agenda. (About time) Both Outdoor line and the NW Wild country radio shows may mention the petition on their shows (Thank you) But the biggest THANK YOU goes to you! It is through your efforts that we have gone this far. We still need to reach others. There are people out there who have no idea about the petition. They may not use the internet, or don’t belong to a club, or for some other reason. WE MUST REACH THEM AS WELL! The link is to a information flyer that you can print out. Please pass it out and post it in sporting good stores, grocery bulletin boards, anywhere you can. Also, keep reaching out to others on social media and in person. Lets keep going and build this movement into something absolutely Historical! WE WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE!! WE WILL BE HEARD! WE WILL GET THESE DOORS OPEN!
