We, the community of users and developers dedicated to free and open-source software, are deeply concerned about Xiaomi’s apparent non-compliance with open-source software licenses, specifically the GNU General Public License (GPL), for certain devices, including the Xiaomi Redmi PAD Pro and Poco PAD (dizi/ruan).

As you know, the GPL mandates that source code must be made available and accessible to users. However, we have observed that Xiaomi has not fully adhered to these requirements, particularly concerning the kernel source code for the Xiaomi Redmi PAD Pro and Poco PAD (dizi/ruan).

We strongly urge Xiaomi to promptly fulfill its obligations under the GPL by releasing the kernel source code for this device.
