Tomorrow, October 10th, 2024, at 8:45 AM a final Public Hearing will be held in Council Chambers at 151 King Street, Chester, Nova Scotia, in which Council will be given opportunity to vote for removal of protections surrounding the Municipality's only current watershed protected zone: Spectacle Lake.

For a Village with well-documented water shortage concerns, removing protections around our only current protected watershed, without alternative watershed zones or protected water sources in place, could have a major impact on our environment and community.

Please attend the hearing to provide input, and hear that of your neighbours!
