For years, many of their beloved arts and crafts are temporarily closed in Saugus, JOANN and Plaster Fun Time.

Last year in 2025, JoAnn Fabrics filed for bankruptcy and the company began the process of liquidating all of its stores after failing to obtain a buyer, then on May 30th of the same year, it closed its doors for good.

Also, Plaster Fun Time was in Saugus, but as of now, it was permanently closed. Plaster Fun Time is where kids can make the coolest arts and crafts. There was the one in Saugus but as of now it was permanently closed.

There are plans to open two stores in Saugus such as Goodwill and the revived Hollywood Express. Both are coming soon to Saugus, Massachusetts.

We want Goodwill (formerly JOANN) as a thrift store in Saugus just like Savers, also in Saugus. Besides that, we also want the revival of Hollywood Express as a video store (formerly Plaster Fun Time), where people can buy or rent movies as more of a thrift rental store, they also sell or rent video games, as well as a gift shop to buy merchandise.

We want to the grand opening of Goodwill not only the one in Revere, but the one in Saugus, formerly JoAnn, as well as Hollywood Express, formerly Plaster Fun Time in Saugus, Massachusetts soon in 2026, plus more locations to reopen are coming soon in 2026.
