Thank you to everyone who came to Cinema and co. Thank you for being so polite and respectful. I was grateful and thankful to you for letting me speak about the abuse I’d endured as a child before June 1999 and the abuse I’ve endured because of the Clydach murders.
Thank you to police sergeant Sonny Wright of West Mercia police for believing and validating my child abuse when I disclosed my abuse to him in 2022. Sonny Wright knew all the locations I described were hotspots of trafficking supported by Operation Chalice and the public inquiry 2023. He is the first police officer to apologise to me for the abuse and way that South Wales police treated me when I was a child. His support and belief in me has been unmeasurable and a great strength to me.
Thank you to Professor Doreann Larkin of Goldsmiths University London for acknowledging that I am an expert in my own right as a child abuse survivor with lived experience of child abuse, trafficking and female perpetrators of abuse which is an under researched area. Goldsmiths University London’s recognition of my child abuse opened up a place for me on their Masters degree in DV and child sexual abuse postgraduate course in 2023. They’ve helped me to recognise why a public inquiry is needed in Swansea. They’ve helped me to stand up to abusers. Violence and abuse against women and girls is everyone’s business.
Thank you to Dr Gail John from Leeds Law School for conducting postgraduate criminal law research around my case and for verifying my information as fact. She used information only found in the public domain such as court documents, documentary transcripts and police interviews. She took me around the UK trying to help me seek justice, going to West Mercia, West Midlands, Gloucester, Northern Ireland and the Supreme Court. She obtained witness statements to help my pursuit for justice and her public domain research also validates what I’m saying as fact.
From April 2022 onwards, we wrote to a lot of people to seek justice, including the Royal Courts of Justice to seek original court transcripts, Courteney Griffiths KC, Simon Jowett, Dr. Brian Thornton, Maslen Merchant and many more. David Morris’ legal team were contacted in 2022. We presented evidence to Maslen Merchant which he acknowledged. We offered to pay him for an hour of his time so that he could obtain a legal witness statement to pursue justice for his client but there was no response. We wrote to Dr. Brian Thornton of Winchester University to try to gain access to my police statements that were used in court but I was denied access to my own documents. We put in a SARs into SWP in 2022 and successfully obtained police statements from SWP in 2023, though many of my original statements were missing. Many of the police statements SWP sent out were written by my mother and had her name on them, they had been written by her, not me. There were police officers names signed on many forged statements - I did not even speak to many of these officers. Fabricating statements and using these in a court of law to discredit witnesses is illegal. Yet it looks like this happened in this case.
In August 2023, we travelled to Bristol University law school and met with Dr Michael Naughton where we shared our findings. He asked us to write a piece for his CCRC Watch which we did. We contacted the CCRC at this time as we noticed significant errors in their documentation about me. We also wrote to Owen Phillips about errors in his Sky documentary about discrepancies/untruths written in Cllr Ioan Richards’ document and putting misleading untrue information in the public domain about my mother’s identity. We also wrote to the Sun newspaper about the errors in their publication about me, where we presenting them with factual documents to highlight their errors. This was regarding the false narrative about me that Martyn Lloyd Evans and Alison Lewis had published in the public domain to try to discredit me and thus stop child abuse victims getting justice.
We have always kept David Morris’ family informed and updated through being open and transparent about all our hours and hours of work which we have done quietly behind the scenes. They are fully aware of our hard graft travelling all around the U,K. doing disclosures to different cross borders police forces. This has been painful and cost me greatly as I have had to relive my trauma every single time. They have been fully aware of the cost, not just the emotional cost to myself, but the financial cost as we have literally spent thousands of our own money trying to get justice for all victims involved in this case. Receipts showing our spending of over 7K can be provided upon request. Dr Gail John and I extended an invite to David’s family to attend a meeting with us May 2023 along with Adrian Rees as we wanted to disseminate our combined research findings to David’s family but despite our best efforts, nothing materialised.
We set up this petition on 26th June 2024, to extend the invite to the larger public, inviting those interested in pursuing justice to actively get involved. Thank you to everyone who has a heart for truth and justice for all victims.
We have been contacted by loads of abuse victims in Swansea who have been denied justice, disbelieved and attacked on social media by abusive people who are either ignorant of the law or have a vested interest in stopping a public inquiry into child abuse in Swansea.
Thank you to Mr. Adrian Rees for your years of dedicated research into this case and your validation. Thank you for your support, especially when I lived in Liverpool and last night. Thank you for producing such a comprehensive document and sharing how you tried to help get David Morris out of prison when he was still alive in July 2020 by sending death certificate proof to him at Long Lartin Prison which broke the prosecution’s case against him including the Actus Reaus and Mens Reau. It is shocking that you were then deliberately stopped from assisting him when he was still alive by one of his family members just one year BEFORE he died in prison. Thank you for being honest in sharing this email evidence. In 2017, when David was still alive, an event was being planned to raise public awareness about the case in the Senedd, but the same person who stopped Adrian Rees’ attempt to assist David, also put a stop to this event. This was to be 4 years BEFORE his death in prison. No one can comprehend this. Some believe it is unforgivable. There are many others who have come forward with similar tales of how their best efforts were thwarted by this very same person. It is heartbreaking to know that this was happening when David was actually still alive. Thank you to Adrian Rees for delivering documents to Musgrave Police station in Belfast and the Supreme Court for me. I am extremely grateful for your assistance.
Thank you to Mr. David McCaughey who has fought tirelessly for over 50 years to get justice for his family in the Scottish Soldiers 371 Campaign. Thank you David for encouraging everyone to speak about victims of atrocities. I believe with my testimony, his family and his campaign can get justice for the three boys who were slaughtered by the IRA in March 1971. Thank you for keeping the memory of your loved ones alive. I listened to what you said on the anniversary of the Scottish Soldiers death and will keep speaking and honouring those close to me to honour the memory of Doris, Mandy, Katie and Emily, to keep their memory alive. We will never forget them. Your fight for justice and my fight for justice are intertwined, as it seems we share the same female perpetrator who involved herself in serial killings of the innocent. This is why the P.I.I.’s need to be opened up.
Thank you to Mr. Michael O’Brien for supporting and believing me. Thank you for sharing my petition. Thank you to Jen Pritchard for your kind words, Jay, Del, Janet, Richard, Peter, Kieran, Cheryl, Hayley, Carys, Cath, Sharon, Gwyn and too many people to mention. Your love and kindness have made a huge difference to me.
Thank you to my family. Thank you to my father and siblings for your testimonies which fully back up everything I’ve said about my mother as a female perpetrator of extreme abuse.
And finally, thank you to all my children for supporting me and having my back. I am so lucky to have you and such good people in my life. I learned how to be kind and caring from Doris, Mandy, Katie and Emily. I am blessed to have known them during my childhood because they were the only ones there for me when I had no one. I am grateful to know and have such good people in my life who have been a rock to me.
Never let anyone silence you with their hate… Life is to be lived.
Thank you to those who came to listen to the overwhelming evidence of why a public inquiry into child sexual abuse public in Swansea is urgently needed.
The I.I.C.S.A. report (2022) about CSE in Swansea published 1st February 2022, University of Sheffield (2019), Leeds Law School (2023), Kimberley Isherwood Child Protection Wales and Jen’s Justice highlight that we have a huge problem of CSE in Swansea. These reports provide evidence that a CSE public inquiry in Swansea at the same level as what happened in Rotherham, Rochdale, Telford and Gloucester is required.
It is very difficult for child abuse victims and females victims of violence to disclose their abuse.
Even when there are NO paedophiles, misogynists or their accomplices, or abusers of the vulnerable on social media spreading their lies, hatred and misinformation to silent abuse victims, it is hard for abuse victims to disclose. Disclosures are extremely difficult even in safe environments.
It is no surprise that one of my most vocal haters on social media, a woman who has been persistently ridiculing my child abuse online and laughing at the fact that I was a victim of child financial exploitation, has publicised personal details of her disabled grandchild’s name, private medical history and dyspraxia diagnosis in the public domain to extract money from people. This is a breach of this child’s right to a private life and a breach of his data. This is exactly the sort of thing my mother would have done to me! No wonder this abhorrent woman thinks it’s acceptable to make fun of child abuse victims and ridicules child victims who have been used for financial exploitation purposes by their own blood relatives.
Let’s not forget that child abusers and their allies do not want a public inquiry into child abuse in Swansea because it will put an end to their financial gain and exploitation of the vulnerable.
Keir Starmer has recently stated he now wants to open up CSE investigations which will extend to Swansea.
Emily Vaughn has written a book about her experiences of being groomed in Swansea. Jen Pritchard also states that all her abuse took place in Swansea. We need a public inquiry to protect our future generations.
It’s a shame we ran out of time. Thank you to everyone for your openness to listen. The best is yet to come…
