I want to thank you all so much for signing the petition! This progress will be the backbone for supporting this movement! I've also got to give a special thanks to everyone who left a comment! but specifically Mason Flowers, who put it in excellent wording, truly inspiring.
I think I speak for a majority of people when I say we need this in our town; having done a lot of research, it seems more and more possible by the day. I urge some of you to leave comments with reasons why we should have a year-round entertainment venue in our town, as many perspectives and reasons, suggestions, or just positive feedback are all appreciated.
I'm currently working on contacting decision makers and other supporters who can help make this happen, and if you would like to support this cause, we do have a GoFundMe Link that you can check out; anything received through here will go towards the project, whether for advertising, legal fees, etc.
And support doesn't just mean donations; if you have important contacts, or advice you'd like to send to us, or a service you'd like to offer, by all means let us know!
Currently we're in the discussion phase, but soon we'll be in the action phase! And I hope that we can continue to get support as things progress; this is very time-consuming and risky, but it's a risk worth taking.
