"One last chance at freedom; Free Franklin McPherson"

"One last chance at freedom; Free Franklin McPherson"
The Issue
Franklin McPherson has been incarcerated for the last 15 years for a mistake he made when he was 20 years old and driving under the influence. Franklin woke up with both legs broken and was told he may not walk the same ever again. Moments later, Franklin was then told that he took the life of a man due to being intoxicated behind the wheel. Franklin was then sentenced to 25 years to life. Not only did he take someone's life that one sad night, but his life was taken as well. He was a young father at the age of 15 and had to grow up fast for the sake of his daughter. He had to leave high school and sports that he played to enter a new world called adulthood. No... Franklin was not perfect but who is? Everyone makes mistakes and it takes you within you to change your life for the better. Almost immediately after getting served his prison sentence, Franklin enrolled into college and received multiple awards for over exceeding in his studies and he even got noticed for his hard work he does day in and day out in the kitchen. Through this all; Franklin felt as though he needed to do more for the community. For the poor families in unfortunate neighborhoods Franklin from behind bars would help assist and fund back to school drives and fundraisers to raise money for the community. All proceeds are donated to those in need. Now Franklin has new projects in store to raise awareness to drunk driving or under the influence drivers and now we need the help of the community to help him get home. All we are requesting from you all is a signature. One signature can help Franklin's story get heard. One signature can help his case get some attention from the governor of New York. All we are asking is that you take out 2 seconds of your day just to sign this petition. Your signature can help a young man go home and once home give his good deeds to the world. Along with this petition is enclosed the portfolio of Franklin McPherson. See for yourself and you will not be disappointed. ***just a disclaimer first and foremost I want to thank everyone who donated and continue to donate to this petition. I want to to be known that it is NOT MANDATORY to CONTRIBUTE any money to this petition. Any money provided does promote more signatures but it is NOT a requirement. Please do not feel obligated to donate. There is an option in fine print that says to share instead so ladies and gentlemen please use that option. Thank you all for sharing and getting Franklin a step closer to home where he belongs ! Thank you all for your time God bless you all. :) <3
