For over 20 years, humanity has lived under an invisible but relentless stream of mobile and broadband radiation — from 2G to 5G, from towers to Wi-Fi routers. We’ve never had a single day off. An entire generation has grown up without once experiencing a world free of constant wireless signals.

I know this because I was part of the system that built it.
As a former telecom engineer at Sasken Communications, I’ve worked on projects that contributed to the rollout of global mobile networks. I understand how these systems function, how they are optimized to be always-on, and how human beings have been continuously subjected to this radiation without pause.

This petition is not about rejecting technology. I am proud of the progress we’ve made as engineers and innovators. But it is also true that progress has a cost — and we have never measured what uninterrupted exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMFs) does to us when there is no break at all.

📊 Facts & Concerns
The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has classified radiofrequency electromagnetic fields as “possibly carcinogenic to humans” (Group 2B).
According to multiple studies, prolonged exposure may contribute to headaches, sleep disturbances, fatigue, reduced fertility, and other biological effects — even though the full long-term picture is not yet conclusive.
There are now over 1 billion mobile subscribers in India, and more than 6 billion worldwide — meaning the majority of humanity lives under constant radiation exposure.
In the past 20 years, there has not been a single global pause — no reset, no experiment, no day to test life without wireless radiation.
🌱 The Proposal
We are calling for a 24-hour annual shutdown of all mobile and broadband towers on December 12th (12/12) — a symbolic and practical “human reset day.”

Imagine one day where:

Phones don’t buzz.
Towers don’t hum.
The invisible signals stop.
We reconnect with ourselves, nature, and each other.
Why 12/12?
Because it symbolizes balance — two sides meeting in harmony. On 12th December each year, we can remind ourselves that technology should serve humanity, not consume it.

This is not an anti-technology movement. It is about balance, awareness, and health. Even machines need a reboot — shouldn’t humans deserve one too?
