The pressure is working. This week we met with Superintendent Dr. Miner and Assistant Superintendent Dr. Schwab. Dr. Miner committed to giving us an answer on reconsideration by end of next week. That same evening, the school board held a study session — multiple board members said public testimony had changed their thinking, and no board member expressed support for implementing the proposal on the original timeline.

What we need from you now:

1 . Come to July 7 (last board meeting before summer). We will deliver one coordinated public comment. The remaining time is open for families with personal stories/additional angles. Your presence matters even if you don't speak.

2 . Submit a written comment before 3:00 PM on July 7. Public comment time may be limited. Written comments ensure your voice is formally on the record.

3.  Spread the word. Share this update with other Edmonds families and invite them to join us on July 7. The more presence in that room, the stronger our message.
