My Name is Rose Isler I own Aeneas Valley Country Store and Not Doug’s Country Kitchen and Espresso and I am an advocate for my community. Every winter there are numerous car accidents at Round Lake some have even ended up in the lake this is a VERY dangerous corner and this winter it was my son who had an accident at Round Lake  due to the road conditions and he suffered 4 skull fractures and 27 stitches he is lucky to be alive. If there was a guard rail he would have  minor injuries in comparison to the ones he sustained when he went off of the road and a fence post snapped and crashed through his windshield hitting him in the face. Okanogan County Public Works knows this specific area is dangerous , I have spoken with them last year and the year before about getting a guard rail put there for the safety of our community and they declined. How many accidents & injuries do there have to be before someone will listen? Does someone have to die? It’s time that this issue is addressed I have emailed  Okanogan County Commissioners and was told that we do not rank high enough to receive a guard rail they go off reported accidents which without cell service is hard for people to report.
