J.D. Vance and Sherrod Brown are senators in the 118th Congress of the United States and representatives of Ohio citizens. Although their job is to represent and advocate for the demands of their constituents, they have both failed to do so. According to polls from AP News, half of American adults agreed that Israel has gone too far in their bombardment of the Gaza Strip. As protests break out across the country, in our state, at our universities, and in our streets, our senators and representatives have failed to make peace efforts. 

     J.D. Vance has accepted $167,324 from pro-Israeli donors, while Sherrod Brown has accepted a whopping $878,299! It's incredibly important that we don't allow our senators to take money from foreign bodies, as they sway the decisions of our government to fit their needs, not ours. This petition is made to urge our senators to call for an immediate ceasefire in Palestine, support for much-needed humanitarian aid, and the end of military aid to the state of Israel. If our politicians fail to give the people what they want, they can and will be voted out of office, and we need to show them that fact. CEASEFIRE NOW! 🇵🇸
