Many Ohio workers and shoppers are exposed to novel coronavirus carriers in the course of their work or their shopping every day. Nationwide, hundreds of people have contracted novel coronavirus in a workplace. Many have died.

Face coverings are very effective at preventing the transmission of novel coronavirus if both parties wear them. Face coverings embody the fundamental principal that we are each our brother's keeper. During the coronavirus pandemic, businesses should embrace this fundamental principle of public health by adopting "No Mask, No Service" policies to protect their workers and their customers.

Selling to Ohio citizens is a privilege. Governor DeWine, during this uniquely dangerous time, please do the right thing and require businesses to implement "No Mask, No Service" policies before granting them the privilege of serving Ohio customers.
