Sign this petition to demand that Ohio representatives call for an immediate ceasefire, an end to US aid to Israel, an end to Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism, and that they recognize the actions of the Israeli government as genocide.

We refuse to let our tax dollars arm a state that is committing genocide. Every day without a ceasefire means more Palestinians killed, more homes destroyed, an increased scarcity in basic necessities, and on. Since October 7th, 2023, the Israeli government has murdered 15,000+ Palestinians in Gaza, including 6,150+ children, including 73 journalists, including 124 healthcare workers, and on, as well as an over 240 Palestinians in the West Bank. As a result of Israeli bombardment, half of the housing units in Gaza are damaged with over 40,000 housing units completely destroyed, 20 hospitals are out of service, and 45 ambulances have been destroyed. The scale of devastation is incalculable, and it is only growing. What is beyond incomprehensible is the active support (financial and otherwise) for genocide displayed by Ohio representatives. 

Every day, we look at these horrific images and accounts of the genocide of Palestinian people, and our representatives tell us that they endorse it. Every day, we watch this genocide and unfathomable devastation unfold right in front of our eyes, and our government officials are arming and financing the perpetrator, the state of Israel. We demand that representatives of the state of Ohio cease their active support of genocide against the Palestinian people. We demand that Ohio representatives cut all ties between Ohio police departments and Israeli forces. We demand that they call for a CEASEFIRE NOW and an end to ALL SYMBOLIC AND MATERIAL SUPPORT to the state of Israel in committing the genocide and ethnic cleansing of Palestine. 

Signing this petition shows our representatives in Ohio that their constituents will not tolerate a genocide being committed with their support and our tax dollars. Let them know that their seats are at stake if they continue to support this genocide. Let them know that we are watching them right now. Let them know that we will hold them accountable if they continue to support and fund a genocide.

Our demands are:

• Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions.
• Ceasefire NOW!
• Allowing humanitarian aid into Gaza.
• No more additional weapons or funding to the state of Israel.
• Immediate de-escalation efforts.
• Condemn and recognize Israeli genocide and war crimes.
• Call for Israel to accept jurisdiction of ICC and abide by international law.
• Cut all ties between Ohio police departments and Israeli forces.
