It's been a while since I last did an update, which may be why we're only slowly crawling up to that 2,500 mark! But we are almost there!

Speaking of moving slowly, we have (finally) got the beta version of our comparison site up and running!

We use data from Ethical Consumer magazine (by arrangement with them) as well as the data that the energy suppliers are supposed to provide to Ofgem and post on their websites.

What this means is that we compare the 55 suppliers that provide enough data with which to do a comparison on their ethicality, eco-friendliness and customer service, and we don't compare the 24 that don't, because they are failing to fulfil their licence obligations to Ofgem.

Whilst the website is in beta, the comparison and switching aspect is fully operational, so you could switch to a more sustainable energy supplier using our site. Or you could just have a look and give us some feedback.
