The Mumbai Coastal Road is ready and the MCGM has reclaimed 275 acres from the ocean.

Now we are asking them to give back to the city and build a Coastal Forest on 80 acres of the reclaimed land and give us a chance to breathe clean air.

The land has already been reclaimed by MCGM - let's put it to good use for Mumbaikars.

A dense, native tree forest (Peepal, Neem, Banyan) along the Mumbai Coastal Road Project can:

🌿 Dramatically improve our air quality – Reducing AQI by 50-100 points, shifting our air from poor to good by absorbing vehicular pollutants (NO₂, SO₂, CO) and trapping PM2.5 & PM10.

🌳 Create a much-needed green lung – Mumbai has only 1.8 sq. meters of green cover per person.

🌊 Protect Mumbai’s coast – A forest acts as a natural buffer, preventing flooding and erosion.
