Did you respond to the firework consultation? There was an error.

Hi all, in case this message fell into your junk mail, thought you should see it.
2026-07-31 Message to consultation responders who didn't see Q5
Thank you for taking part in our consultation on fireworks and pyrotechnics.
We recently identified a technical issue with the online response form to the consultation, which has now been corrected. Due to an error, Question 5 was not shown correctly to respondents using the online response form.
We are contacting you because you responded to the consultation using the form before the correction was made, and we would like to give you the opportunity to answer Question 5 if you wish to do so. This is entirely optional, we have recorded all the answers you previously gave in response to the consultation, and you can choose not to re-enter the online form to answer Question 5. This will not change the way we record or assess your overall consultation response.
To help, below is the consultation text and Question 5:
F1s and P1s are the lowest risk categories of explosive products, covering a wide range of products including party poppers, Christmas crackers, small indoor fountains, smoke bombs and other novelty smoke and spark devices, all designed to produce minimal noise and light effects.
Question 5: Are there any other specific F1 and P1 pyrotechnics that should have their regulatory requirements increased or decreased? Please state which products, what regulatory requirements you think they should have and give your reasons.
You can use the link below to access the online response form and submit a response to this question.

If you choose to do so, please use the same name or email address as you did for your original response. This will help us link your answer to Question 5 with your original response. You do not need to answer any of the other questions again.
Thank you for your time and continued participation in the consultation.
