I am still reading through the 327 (so far) submissions. A majority of them wanting change of some sort.
Some, comparing firework use with owning dogs..... don't see the connection myself.
Some questioning why there isn't a petition against horse racing which they say is cruel to horses and if we really cared ..blah blah. There probably is a petition it just hasn't made the numbers yet to get debated.
The pro firework submissions are mostly blowing smoke hoping to divert attention.
Anyway have a look for yourselves and see what their arguments are.
