"Like living in a war zone" ..I have heard people describe the firework season in those words. Now to be truthful, not many of us born in the UK really understand the depth of that statement. Sadly some people living in our communities do 'get it'.
We have ex service personnel who know all about it and probably don't want reminding at random times through autumn and winter. Refugees from real war zones, well I can't imagine how they would feel.
That exaggerated wording aside, it really is a living hell for some vulnerable people in our society. Why should they be afraid or distressed while in their own homes? The video attached is just one of many circulating on social media. So now some people are afraid to go out of their houses too!
Email the Office of Product Standards and Safety.... they think this is OK.
